Kirkwood offers reward for bomb threat information

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- Investigators say two bomb threats against Kirkwood Community College were sent using computers on the school's campus.

Threatening e-mails were sent to WHO-TV in Des Moines on April 1 and April 2. Police say the e-mails were sent using a kiosk computer on the second floor of Linn Hall on the main campus in Cedar Rapids.

Kirkwood is now offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of anyone involved. Anyone who may have seen something suspicious or heard someone talking about the threats is asked to contact the Cedar Rapids CrimeStoppers at 1-800-CR-CRIME.
