Iowa baseball team looses 6th straight game

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -- The Iowa baseball team upped their straight losses to half a dozen on Easter Sunday.

That's six straight losses. Saturday they dropped game two against Indiana. Sunday they were back at it again.

Bottom of the 4th Indiana up 3-1. Iowa's Wes Freie with an RBI hit to left. Kevin Hoef with the run home. Its 3-2 Indiana.

Top of the 8th, This time Iowa looses it. Indiana with the steal home. Its 6-3 Hoosiers.

Indiana wins it 8-4.

Meanwhile the Iowa woman on the road Easter Sunday. The Purdue Boilermakers hosting the Hawks. Senior Brittany Wiel threw her 4th no hitter. Hawks with the 4-0 win. That boost their record for 33-9, 5-3 in Big Ten play. Next up double header Wednesday at Northwestern.
