Zach Johnson Misses Cut at the Masters

Posted:

Zach Johnson is not alone in looking to survive through the weekend at Augusta.

Des Moines native Jack Newman--an amateur and junior at Michigan State is also at the Masters.

Iowa Governor Chet Culver's office sent out a release saying he would be in Georgia to watch both Iowans...But neither will be there after today.

Zach had a tough second round shooting an eight over par 80 to finish at six over for the tournament-- while Newman finishes his first masters at four over par.

Tiger Woods will be around for the Easter holiday despite bogeying 18 for the second day in a row--- Woods shot even par today--he is two under for the tournament.

That's seven strokes behind first round leader Chad Campbell who is nine under---

Also at nine under is Kenny Perry who shot a five under par 67 to shoot to the top of the leaderboard.
