Cemetery vandalism in Waterloo

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Vandals struck one of Waterloo's oldest cemeteries during the weekend.

Waterloo Police say several gravestones were vandalized either late Friday or early Saturday at Elmwood Cemetery in Waterloo.  Four gravestones were knocked over and damaged, including one of former Iowa Governor Horace Boies.  The cemetery caretaker noticed the vandalism.

According to police, the damage ranges from $50 - $500.
No arrests have been made.
