The Isle to honor Iowa farmers

The Isle® Casino Hotel Waterloo is celebrating National Agricultural Day and would like to say thank you to our nations' farmers. "Agriculture is an essential part of Iowa's economy. From John Deere Waterloo Works to area farmers, agricultural producers are the corner stone of our community. Their hardwork builds commerce, feeds a nation and offers the products that allow us to provide a quality dining experience, without which our business would not be the success that it is," stated Bari Richter, vice president and general manager of Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo.

March 20 is National Agricultural Day. On this day, the United States takes a moment to thank our nations' agricultural producers. The Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo celebrates our nations agricultural producers everyday through its considerable beef, pork, poultry, eggs and milk purchases - nearly 89,500 pounds of beef, 63,400 pounds of pork, 30,700 pounds of poultry, 10,500 gallons of milk, and 456,000 eggs were purchased in 2008.
