WATERLOO (KWWL)-- Hawkeye Community College is hosting a blood drive Wednesday. It's the third year that student organizations have put on the event.
The blood drive will take place from 9 a.m. To 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Tammy Hall Lobby of Hawkeye Community College.
The drive is held each year on the college campus to honor Grimm, who suffered from a rare blood disease called Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia Purpura.
