2 killed including alleged gunman in Linn Co. shooting

LINN CO. (KWWL) -- Two people are dead and two others are injured after a shooting in Linn County.

Linn County Deputies were called to the 7100 block of Mount Vernon Road at the Vernon Heights Mobile Home Park, just after 7:30 Friday night.

There, deputies found 43-year old Tawny Tomberlin shot and killed.

They also found 48-year old Duane Tomberlin Junior and 27-year-old James Campbell wounded.

Deputies believe their injuries are non-life threatening.

A few hours later, through cell phone tracking, deputies and other law enforcement agencies found the alleged shooter's vehicle in a field off East Bertram Road just west of Irish Lane.

Deputies found 42-year-old Christopher Vogt in the truck.

At this time, it appears he shot and killed himself.
