Former Iowa State guard Naz Mitrou-Long signed a two-way deal with the Utah Jazz on Saturday. The deal means Mitrou-Long with likely spend most of the 2018-2019 season with the team's G-League affiliate the Salt Lake City Stars.

ISU Volleyball has three players named to all-Big 12

Updated:

Iowa State was well represented on the All-Big 12 Preseason Team announced by the league Wednesday, with three Cyclones making the squad. Returning All-Big 12 First Team selections redshirt junior libero Hali Hillegas and senior outside hitter Jess Schaben were joined by senior middle blocker Grace Lazard on the team.

ISU's Wigginton invited to elite camps

Iowa State sophomore Lindell Wigginton has been selected to participate in the 2018 Nike Basketball Academy and the Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp. Both camps take place in early August.  Wigginton enters his sophomore season as the Big 12's top returning scorer with 16.7 points per game during his freshman campaign.

Highly touted running back commits to ISU

Iowa State's Matt Campbell landed one of his most sought after recruits. Quincy, Illinois, running back Jirehl Brock committed to the Cyclones on Friday. Brock, a consensus four star recruit listed as one of the top ten backs in the class of 2019, chose Iowa State over his other finalists Minnesota and Northwestern.

Campbell's contract at ISU includes large buy-out

Iowa State will receive $7 million if Matt Campbell leaves for another job before February of 2019. That's according to the details of his contract which was obtained through an FOIA request by the Des Moines Register on Wednesday.
