A text message threat is cirrculating at New Hampton Schools warning of an attack on Friday, but police think it's a hoax.
The New Hampton Police Department was notified of the threat Thursday by school administrators about a text message sent to some students warning them to stay home from school on Friday. Police are investigating, but say it appears to be a hoax. Police say they will increase patrols at the school Friday as a precaution.
