It appears one person is hurt after a plane crash Saturday in Buchanan County. We're told it happened near the Independence Airport. The runway is actually closed, but witnesses tell us the plane apparently tried to land at the airport. We understand the pilot was taken to a local hospital. No word how serious the injuries may be.
