''Undie Sunday'' at Dubuque church

DUBUQUE (KWWL)-- While many people look to donate coats to charities during the colder months, more intimate articles are frequently overlooked though they are just as necessary. The homeless are often in new of new undergarments. That's why St. John's Episcopal Church in Dubuque is hosting ''Undie Sunday''. The church is inviting you to donate items Sunday, Nov. 21. from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. It's taking packages of men's underwear, and undershirts; packages of women's underwear or sports bras; and boys and girls underwear. All sizes will be accepted but must be new and in the packages.

Undergarments will be given to the Dubuque Rescue Mission and the Theresa Shelter.
