UIU celebrates new buildings

FAYETTE (KWWL) -- It's homecoming weekend at Upper Iowa University in Fayette this weekend, and the institution is celebrating more than just a football game.

Friday, the university dedicated its two new buildings, South Village 1 residence hall, and the Liberal Arts building.

These new buildings mark the start of a $75 million construction project on campus.

The homecoming parade will take place Saturday through downtown Fayette, prior to the homecoming game. The Peacocks take on the University of Minnesota Crookston.
