RAGBRAI Preps: Getting Fitted Part One

Jason Fowler who is known as the "Spin Doctor" at Bike Tech in Cedar Falls will work with me on getting ready for RAGBRAI.

Fowler who has a "Masters Degree" from the University of Northern Iowa in Exercise Science custom fits bikes for his clients. Fowler"s focus is on making everyone's biking experience safe and comfortable ---so he picks out a road bike for me designed for long rides.

Before Fowler gets me fitted for my new bike-- he's got to get me dressed for the part.

Fowler puts me in heat resistant Jersey and biker shorts. He also outfits me with a bike helmet, gloves, shoes and socks.
