Dubuque YouTube video participant arrested

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -- U.S. Marshals arrested David Cashius Rhone, 23, of Dubuque, on April 7th, 2010. Rhone was identified by authorities as the "lead singer" in a video recently posted on YouTube in which participants are seen at various locations throughout Dubuque, including City Hall, displaying what appear to be weapons, narcotics and currency.

Rhone's arrest relates to violating his term of supervised release.  His original charges were related to the "Transfer of an Unregistered Sawed-Off Rifle" and "Possession of a Firearm by an Unlawful User of Controlled Substances". In March of 2007, Rhone was sentenced to 37 months in Federal Prison on the above charges and served approximately 2/3 of that sentence. He was then placed on the 3 years of supervised release.

Rhone is being held in the Linn County Jail pending a detention hearing on April 12th.  The hearing will determine if he remains incarcerated.
