Bank employees wear high heels for Haiti

Posted:

CRESCO (KWWL) - C US Bank in northeast Iowa has raised over $4,000 for Haiti through a unique program, "High Heels for Haiti." Their president, Scott Thomson (Cresco), and Loan Office Managers Dennis Hovden (Ridgeway), Duane Johnson (Lime Springs), and Charley Perry (Charles City) all agreed to wear high heels to work on Friday if over $1,063 was raised for the Haiti disaster victims.

The bank accepted donations at their locations for the past week and greatly surpassed their goal by raising over $4,000. These men all agreed that some humility and a few squished toes were a small price to pay for such a good cause. The money will be sent to the American Red Cross, ear marked for the Haiti disaster relief.
