CLEAR LAKE, Iowa (AP) - Authorities are looking for what caused a fire at a concrete plant in Clear Lake.
The fire at Andrews Prestressed Concrete was reported around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. The company makes bridge girders, columns and roof slabs.
Flames were coming out of the building when firefighters arrived.
Andrews employee Randy Spellman told Mason City television station KIMT that he was driving by the plant when he saw the fire and stopped. He says it appears the blaze may have started in an area where there's a turbine mixer.
No injuries were reported and no other details were immediately available.
