DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Jake Thomas scored 18 points to lead five South Dakota players in double figures Sunday as the Coyotes defeated Binghamton, 89-77, at the Drake Invitational.
Kendall Cutler scored 16, Tyler Cain and Mitchell Bouie 14 apiece, and Roman Gentry scored 10 for South Dakota (6-4). The Coyotes, who led 33-26 at halftime, stretched their lead to 62-41 midway through the second half. Binghamton didn't come closer than eight points after that.
Greer Wright led all scorers with 20 points for Binghamton (3-8). Mahamoud Jabbi scored 16 points, Dylan Talley had 15 points and a game-high nine rebounds, and Moussa Camara 11 points for the Bearcats.
Drake, the host school, defeated South Dakota Friday night and Binghamton on Saturday night.
