Fire destroys house in Belle Plaine

BELLE PLAINE (KWWL) -- A house is destroyed after a fire in Belle Plaine.

Firefighters were called to a house on 6th Avenue late Tuesday night.

When firefighters showed up, the house was engulfed.

Firefighters say the house is a total loss.

No one was home at the time.
Investigators are looking into whether the blaze was purposely set.
