Matter of Faith: "Operation Christmas Child"

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- A Waterloo church is helping children around the world.

Hammond Avenue Brethren Church in Waterloo is collecting shoe boxes full of gifts. It’s through Samaritan's Purse called “Operation Christmas Child.”

People are asked to fill shoe boxes with hygiene items, school supplies and toys. You can drop the boxes off at Hammond Avenue Brethren Church at 1604 Hammond Avenue in Waterloo. You can also call 319-234-4094 for more information.

The boxes go to children in more than 100 countries.
