WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) - Three people were arrested for robbing a Waterloo bar after 1 of the establishment's employees saw them trying to sell stolen items at a pawn shop.
Police say it appears the suspects broke down a door at the Diamond Bar after closing time early Thursday morning. They allegedly stole a keyboard, mixer, amplifier and an LCD television valued at about $5,500.
Later that afternoon, a Diamond Bar employ spotted them trying to pawn some of the stolen items at Mister Money. Police arrived and found more stolen items in the suspects' car.
Police say 18-year-old Ermin Alagic (ah-LAH-zhick) and 20-year-old Amir Kajtezovic (kazh-TEH-zo-vich) were arrested on charges of second-degree theft by possession of stolen property. They say 13-year-old Ferhad Alibegic (all-EEH'-beh-gick) was taken into custody on similar charges.
