WAVERLY (KWWL) Typically farmers markets are wrapped up for the season, but this year The Northern Iowa Food and Farm Partnership is trying out some indoor farmers markets.
The markets are Saturdays in November and December. The first one was November 7 in Waverly at city hall. Vendors at the farmers market said even though it was nice outside, typically the weather is cold this time of year and people don't turnout for an outdoor event. Besides Waverly, the farmers markets will be in Cedar Falls and Waterloo the second and third Saturdays of November and December. The one in Cedar Falls next Saturday is on Main Street from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
