With the U.S. fighting two wars, American military families are making some enormous sacrifices in the name of freedom. While military families do not seek public recognition, Waterloo's Grout Museum is making plans to recognize and honor military families with the Sullivan Brothers Outstanding Military Family Award.
Nominations for the Sullivan Brothers Outstanding Military family Award are due by Monday, November 9 by 5 PM. http://www.groutmuseumdistrict.org/assets/PDFs/AwardApplication.pdf
The winner will be announced at a special one-year anniversary event for the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum on Saturday night, November 21. The one-year anniversary event is being called A Night at the Hollywood Canteen.
