Iowa town elects teen as mayor

DAWSON (AP) -- Voters in the Dallas County town of Dawson have chosen an 18-year-old to be mayor.

Colton Morman won Tuesday's election with 29 votes or 53.7 percent. He defeated Jeffrey Anspaugh who had 21 votes or 38.8 percent. There were four write-in votes.

The incumbent mayor decided not to run for re-election.

Dawson, located about 8 miles west of Perry, has a population of more than 155 people.
