IOWA CITY (KWWL) -- A woman is in the hospital after being hit by a drunk driver in Iowa City.
Police say 19-year old Aubrey Strause drove through the intersection of Burlington and Clinton streets just before 3:00 Saturday morning and struck another woman.
Police stopped Strause a block down the road where she told police she knew she had hit someone.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a head injury.
Strause had a blood alcohol level of .133.
