WATERLOO (KWWL) - Main Street Waterloo's annual family-friendly downtown Halloween event will be held on Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the downtown Farmers Market in the Regions Bank Parking Lot. Activities will include crafts, games, treats, contests and prizes. Everyone is welcome to enjoy free refreshments, and try your hand at guessing the weight of a giant pumpkin. Children should bring their own trick-or treat bags. Maps of participating businesses who will be providing free candy will also be available. The kids may start trick or treating at the stores beginning at 10:00 a.m.
This safe and fun event is open to the public. The event is free, with the exception should children wish to come in costume and be photographed, a professional photographer will be available to take your picture for $2.00.
