UPDATE: Bank robbed in Oxford

OXFORD (KWWL) -- The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man that robbed the First Trust and Savings Bank in Oxford this morning.

Police were called to the bank at around 11:11 a.m. this morning.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6'2" tall with a thin build and dark hair.  He was last seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, dark khaki pants and had a handkerchief over his face.

The man showed a gun during the robbery, but no one was injured.

Police say the suspect fled in a gray 2004 Mazda MZ6, similar to the one in the photo on the left.  It was stolen from near the bank and has Iowa Hawkeye personalized plates, HILSTOY.

Anyone with information on this or locates this vehicle is asked to call the Johnson County Sheriff's Office at 319-356-6020 or the Johnson County Tip Line at 319-354-3729.

Iowa City Area Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.  Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 358-TIPS (8477).  All calls are held in strict confidence and anonymity is guaranteed.  Individuals providing information do not have to reveal their identity to collect a reward.
