WASHINGTON (KWWL) -- Three people are now charged in Monday's robbery of the West Chester Savings Bank in Washington.

Verkisha Latrice Burns, 20, and Katelyn Maria Curtis, 18, both of Cedar Rapids, were arrested shortly after the robbery.  Burns is charged with First Degree Robbery and Curtis is charged with First Degree Aiding and Abetting Robbery.

On Tuesday, Washington police reported a third arrest. Nineteen year-old Raylon Deshon Jones of Washington is charged with 1st degree robbery.

The bank, located at 1060 West Monroe Street, was robbed shortly after noon on Monday.  Police say a black female entered the bank showing a weapon and demanded cash.

The woman then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash in a green Chevy car.  The vehicle was spotted a short time later at Highway 1 and 180th Street.  Three people were taken in for questioning.  Police recovered a handgun and the cash from the vehicle.

The investigation continues and further arrests may be coming.
