Two injured in Bremer county crash

BREMER COUNTY (KWWL) -- Two people are recovering from injuries after a crash in Bremer County.

It happened at the intersection of highway 218 and C50 just after five Friday afternoon.

The State Patrol says 66-year-old Vernon Whitney of Waverly was attempting to cross 218 when he was hit by 21-year-old Bryce Mohr of Westside.

Authorities say Whitney was thrown from the vehicle. Both drivers were taken to the hospital; their conditions were not immediately released.
