FRANKLIN CO. (KWWL) -- A woman is dead after a rollover in Franklin County.

The state patrol says 72-year old Sherly Barta from Ames was driving south on Interstate 35 near mile marker 171 around 4:00 Monday afternoon, when she lost control of her vehicle, drove into the ditch and rolled.

Authorities say Barta was wearing her seat belt.
