JOHNSON COUNTY (KWWL) -- A teen died in a single car rollover accident on Interstate 380 in Johnson County Friday night.
The Iowa State Patrol says around 8:45, a van driven by 15-year old Rachel stewart was headed north on 380 near mile marker 8 when she lost control of the van, hit the median and flipped.
16-year old Alyssa Benedict from Tiffin was killed in the crash.
Stewart and 16-year old Rachel Peterson were hospitalized.
Neither Benedict nor Peterson were wearing a seatbelt.
The crash is under investigation.
