KEOKUK, Iowa (AP) - A southeast Iowa man has died after being struck by a train.
Authorities say 66-year-old William Mudd was hit by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight train on Tuesday afternoon. Mudd, of Hamilton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mudd's body was discovered near the Keokuk Yacht Club.
