FAYETTE CO. (KWWL) - A Wadena woman now faces charges after a July knife attack.
The Fayette County sheriff's office says 19-year old Samatha Petersen attacked an 18-year-old girl with a butcher knife after an argument July 27th.
Alyssa Gill was treated for a stab wound to the chest.
Petersen was taken to University Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa city for a mental evalution, and is now being held in the Fayette County Jail on the attempted murder charge.
She's being held on $100,000 bond.
