ALLAMAKEE COUNTY (KWWL) - One man is dead after a crash near Harpers Ferry.
The Allamakee County Sheriff's Office says 43-year-old John Ramer, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, died after a crash Thursday night.
It happened along X52, five miles north of Harpers Ferry, around 9:30 p.m.
Sheriff officials say Ramer was northbound when he lost control along a curve. He went off the road, down an embankment, and rolled.
He was taken to Veteran's Memorial Hospital in Waukon where he was pronounced dead.
