Jury convicts Iowa teen in fatal stabbing

WAVERLY (KWWL) - A jury has convicted a northeast Iowa teenager of voluntary manslaughter in the stabbing death of another teen.

A Bremer County jury returned the verdict on Thursday against 17-year-old Sebastian Trimble, of Summer. He had been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 18-year-old Raymond Randall, also of Sumner.

Randall was stabbed to death on Aug 4, 2008.

Trimble faces up to 10 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 28.
