Man dies after being hit by a car in Chickasaw County

IONIA (KWWL) -- A man is dead after police say he was hit by a car in Chickasaw County.

Police say 52-year-old David Becker of Ionia was walking on Cheyenne Road crossing Highway 18 when he was hit by a car.

The incident happened just before 11 Saturday night.

The driver of the car was 18-year-old Brady Rausch also of Ionia.

No other details of the accident are being released at this time.
