NEW DETAILS: Plane crash near Hampton

FRANKLIN COUNTY (KWWL) -- A small plane that crashed north of Hampton in Franklin County has claimed the life of a Latimer man.

Crews responded around 2:00 p.m. Friday west of Hwy 65 near County Rd. C-25.  That's north of Beeds Lake. 

44 year old David Colglazier died in the crash. He was flying a single engine Cessna plane. The Iowa State Patrol and Federal Aviation Administration is investigating what caused the plane to crash.
