UPDATE: Wind damage, downed power lines reported

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Severe weather continues to track across eastern Iowa as we continue to receive reports of heavy wind damage and flash flooding.

Around 3 a.m. reports came in from Grant County of flash flooding. As much as 15 feet of water was reported near Werley.

Around 8 a.m. we received reports of corn and trees down in Toledo and tree damage in Garrison and Urbana.

Heavy winds caused significant damage in Vinton, and even reports of a roof blow off a house in Linn County.

Around 8:30 a.m., reports came in from Delaware County of power lines blown down south of Highway 20. A tree was also reportedly blown down over power lines in Buchanan County near Troy Mills.

A trained weather spotter in Dubuque County reported wind gusts of 60 miles per hour around 8:30 a.m.

A viewer reports heavy damage in Farley, including trees blocking roadways and power lines down.

Also, at Lake Delhi there are reports of boats sunk, tree limbs down and windows blown out.
