Weather blamed for motorcycle accident

WAUCOMA (KWWL) - Bad weather is to blame for an early morning motorcycle accident in Fayette County.

It happened around 5:45 am Thursday on County Road V68, 4 miles south of Waucoma. Fayette County Sheriff's deputies say 56 yr old John J. Baldwin of West Union was travelling southbound on his 1997 Honda when he lost control due to the weather conditions and rolled into the ditch.

Baldwin was transported by private vehicle to Palmer Lutheran Hospital in West Union for injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
