BUTLER COUNTY (KWWL) -- A third person has now died after a car crash near Parkersburg Thursday night.
Sgt. John Baver with the Iowa State Patrol says a person called 911 after seeing the car in the ditch shortly after 9:00 p.m. When crews arrived, they found the car upside down, partially submerged in water.
The State Patrol says 23-year old Jesse Burris was northbound on T-47 when he lost control and rolled his car into the ditch.
Redman-Schwartz funeral home says Jesse and 20-year old passenger Krista Burris died.
Their one-year-old son Adam was flown to the hospital in Iowa City where he died Friday morning.
