DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - At least 11 people have died in accidents in Iowa over the Memorial Day weekend.
The latest to be reported happened on Sunday in Fremont County in western Iowa. The sheriff's office says Duane Beckett, of Plattsmouth, Neb., died when his pickup truck slid off a road and rolled several times west of Tabor.
Law enforcement reports show that eight others died in crashes in Iowa on Saturday. Another deadly accident happened on Friday, and another on Sunday.
