Bob's been interested in broadcasting since he was in 4th grade. As part of a job shadow day, he tagged along with a photographer at the local NBC affiliate. I first knew I wanted to be a news reporter in second grade. I was at the Iowa State Invention Convention with my dad, and a reporter asked to interview me. I remember the reporter repeatedly told me to look at her, not the camera. Even then, I wanted to tell a story directly to the viewers, which is why I love my job. Click here to read more. More>>
For his entire life John Wilmer has called eastern Iowa home. He grew up in Parkersburg and attended Aplington-Parkersburg High School. John went on to the University of Northern Iowa where he graduated with a degree in Communications.
